Last Seconds

As photographers know, we are keen observers of what is happening around us at any given time. Light is often the quest but so is the capturing a particular mood or moment. There are times that the beauty I experience is staggering and the desire to share that with someone is powerful. But as is often the case, I work alone and so I hope that sharing my images with others, perhaps they will know what was in my thoughts and in my heart. That I was happy.
I can often pick that mood up in other photographers work...an undercurrent of passion that transends the image. Work that does that is noteworthy. I see hundreds of beautiful images but without that passion flowing through it, it pales in comparison to what I'm writing about. When I'm in the zone, it happens. I love it there.
